Biomedical Engineering Research Scientist
The Chilkoti Laboratory in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Duke University, is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Research Scientist to join the diagnostics/biointerface science team. Our laboratory integrates techniques from surface chemistry, inkjet printing, 3D printing, nanofabrication, biomedical optics, and molecular biology to create innovative point-of-care diagnostic technologies, particularly for resource-limited settings (see our recent publication: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7737629/). The candidate will focus on developing a point-of-care immunoassay integrated with plasmonic nanostructures for enhanced assay sensitivity.
