Position Description

The Pengfei Song ultrasound research laboratory in the Department of Biomedical Engineering of Duke University is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of Research Scientist to join the team.

Responsibilities include:
Manage projects and conduct research on the topics of super-resolution ultrasound imaging, ultrafast three-dimensional ultrasound imaging, contrast-free microvessel imaging, and functional neuroimaging.
Write grants and reports related to the research topics listed above.
Participating in mentoring lab members including graduate students and postdoctoral research associates.

Qualifications:
PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, or a related field.
Strong track record of research and publications in a relevant area.
Expertise in ultrasound imaging, small animal imaging, clinical human ultrasound imaging, coding and programming.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team.

Job Location:
Duke University On-Site.
