We seek a postdoctoral associate, fully funded for one year with the potential to extend pending additional funding. The position supports the development and application of a novel protein-display technology named GRIP (Gluing RNA to Its Protein). We seek to extend GRIP display to optimize our cell-specific pharmacology platform named DART (Drug Acutely Restricted by Tethering), and to extend GRIP display to therapeutic applications in cancer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform protein engineering. Data analysis and interpretation Maintain accurate and organized records of work performed Participate in weekly laboratory meetings and planning sessions Essential Skills and Abilities Communicate clearly, plan and prioritize daily duties, handle multiple tasks, and respond to changes Ability to learn complex tasks, pay attention to details, minimize error, and self-assess. Proactive, resourceful and able to generate results within defined deadlines

Education/Training: PhD
ExperienceWe seek individuals with a PhD in protein engineering, particularly in protein display technologies like GRIP display. 
Skills: Expertise in protein engineering, particularly in GRIP Display, is highly desirable. Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills are essential
