Position Description:

The Pratt School of Engineering is seeking an Assistant Adjunct Professor to teach a one-semester course in Fall 2025. The course is titled EGR 105L Computing for Engineers, which is the foundational computing course for all undergraduate engineering majors, taken by first-year students. The course teaches computational thinking and programming fundamentals in Python in the context of authentic, collaborative projects. The instructor leads activities in a flipped format class session with dedicated staff and TA support. Lab staff teach the laboratory component. Instructor responsibilities include: *Meeting weekly with the instructional team *Leading lecture class sessions *Holding two hours of office hours per week *Giving feedback to and grading student project milestones.
