Position Description:
   

The Emergent Quantum Systems Lab (EQSL) in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Notre Dame has a postdoc opening to perform frontier research at the intersection of condensed matter physics and quantum information science. 

Interested candidates with a PhD background, or prior postdoctoral experience, in any of the following areas are encouraged to send a Cover Letter and CV (including a Publication List) to Prof. Dafei Jin by email [see contact information below]: 
  • Superconducting / semiconducting device fabrication and characterization.
  • Trapped ions / neutral atoms, or related atomic, molecular, and optical physics.
  • Cryogenic transport / microwave measurements, or general quantum material studies. 
Fluent oral and written communications in English are necessary. Strong hardware control and computer programming skills are desired.
