Including processes that threaten development or promote resilience; the development of adaptive and/or maladaptive behavior within the context of risk.

  2)    Development in the Peer Context
Including the development of social cognition or social behavior that occurs within the context of peer relationships or peer group processes.

Candidates will be expected to maintain a high-quality and productive research program that will attract external funding; to provide high-quality teaching and research mentorship at both the undergraduate and graduate level; and to demonstrate a strong commitment to creating an inclusive environment and promoting the success of students from racial and ethnic groups that have been traditionally underrepresented in academia.
