Position Description:    

Dr. Frauscher's ANPHY lab is seeking a Research Scientist to support research being performed in the ANPHY lab. Responsibilities will include; developing her/his own research direction within the lab’s research directions, publishing 1-2 publications as first author per year, assisting in grant writing for the lab, developing, together with the PI/collaborators an EEG / algorithm database for the lab, supervising the development of algorithms required to answer the lab’s research questions, supervising the students of the lab at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate level, and designing independent research protocols.

Education/Experience: The successful candidate must hold a PhD degree in biomedical engineering or related disciplines and ideally have > 3 years of experience as postdoc in the field of electroencephalography and epilepsy. The candidate must have demonstrated superior organization, planning, priority settings, analyzing and problem solving skills. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple projects within established deadlines. They must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, have a strong publication record and record of previously successful grant applications.
