The Duke Quantum Center (DQC) invites applicants for positions as DQC Postdoctoral Associates. The DQC conducts research on the entire stack of a quantum information system from the underlying physics to hardware design, applications, and algorithms (https://quantum.duke.edu/). 

The working environment is interdisciplinary and collaborative with scientists, engineers, and mathematicians coming together to co-design the next generation of high-performance quantum systems. 

DQC Postdoctoral Associates will have the opportunity to work with experts in ion trap quantum computation, photonics, device fabrication, cold molecular ions, quantum system engineering, quantum control, quantum information theory, quantum resource theories, near-term algorithms, and quantum error correction. Requirements - A PhD in engineering, physical sciences, or mathematics.
