The Relativistic Heavy Ion group at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a postdoctoral research position. The group is involved in research in the ALICE Collaboration at CERN and will have contributions at the future EIC experiments. The successful candidate will play a major role in data taking and data analysis for the ALICE experiment at the LHC, performing heavy-flavour measurements. There are also opportunities to be involved in R&D projects for ALICE and EIC experiments. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in experimental nuclear physics and a strong background in data analysis. The appointment will initially be for one year, renewable for up to 3 years upon satisfactory performance and available funding. Applicants should submit a resume highlighting personal research achievements, a list of publications where you have made significant contributions, a 1-2 page statement of research interests, and arrange three letters of references.
