Ohio Eminent Scholar in Industrial Microbiology Department of Microbiology College of Arts and Sciences
Position Overview The Department
of Microbiology invites applications for the position of Ohio Eminent Scholar in
Industrial Microbiology. This is an endowed, tenure-track position at the
Associate or Full Professor level. The Ohio Eminent Scholars (OES) Program,
created by the Ohio General Assembly and administered by the Ohio Board of
Regents, aims to enhance the national eminence of selected outstanding academic
programs at Ohio universities by attracting nationally recognized scholars. For
this position, applications are sought from those with a distinguished track
record in industrial microbiology, interpreted broadly to include excellence in
applying molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, chemical biology,
physiology, or multi-omics approaches to study industrially relevant microbes,
biotechnology, antibiotics and microbial natural products, renewable biofuels
and bioproducts, and/or climate change mitigation.

Immunity.
