The Department of Computer Science (http://www.csds.gsu.edu/) at Georgia State University (GSU) is seeking to fill an Academic Professional position to assist with coordinating laboratory activities for introductory CS courses, to support the design of laboratory assignments, and manage projects for the Senior Design Capstone sequence. The Academic Professional will report to the Department Chair and will contribute to different internal and outreach strategic initiatives of the Department including the development of stakeholder and company relationships to facilitate the Department’s vision; coordination of activities of the Department’s Industrial Advisory Board (IAB); serving as project manager for diverse departmental initiatives; and limited teaching of appropriate courses. The Academic Professional appointment is in a 12-month non-tenure track position with limited teaching responsibilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance in this position through promotion to higher ranks.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
