Position Description: |
The group of Edwin Huang in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Notre Dame has an opening for a postdoctoral position in condensed matter theory. In particular, we seek candidates with a strong background in the theory of correlated quantum materials and especially those with experience in computational quantum many-body methods. Topics of interest include unconventional superconductivity, non-Fermi liquid phases, and spectroscopic properties of quantum materials. Besides performing research in these topics, the successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to interact closely with newly established experimental condensed matter groups in the Stavropoulos Center for Complex Quantum Matter. The position is for two years and may be extended to a third year upon mutual agreement. Applications submitted by January 1, 2024 will be given full consideration. Required application materials:
The Department is committed to diversifying, and encourages applications from women and members of traditionally underrepresented groups. |
