Position Description

Sessional Lecturer Position - Winter 2023 Term 2

The University of British Columbia (Vancouver), invites applications from outstanding individuals for teaching courses within the Department of Computer Science. The Department seeks one or more Sessional Lecturers to teach individual courses in winter term 2 (January to April 2024).

One or more opportunities may be available in Jan-Apr 2024 depending on final scheduling, likely in a subset of CPSC 103, 203, 210, 322, 330, 344 and 444. (Course descriptions are available at https://vancouver.calendar.ubc.ca/course-descriptions/subject/cpsc.) The Department will consider applicants with previous teaching experience in a post-secondary setting and we will consider applicants whose abilities cover a broad range of topics and levels. A Masters or equivalent in Computer Science or related areas is required, with a preference to applicants who possess a PhD. We welcome applications from computer scientists who are active in industry.
