Two nine-month postdoctoral fellowships in the Department of Cultural Anthropology at Duke University. Candidates will be part of a team project researching the difficulties of unionization at Amazon.com. Successful applicants must meet at least three of the following four criteria necessary to round out our team:
1)Expertise in statistics and large-scale surveying
2)Experience doing fieldwork in an Amazon.com warehouse, preferably abroad for comparative purposes
3)Experience in labor organizing
4)Strong background in social theory.
Salary and benefits competitive. The positions begin on September 1, 2024 and end date May 31, 2025.
