Assistant/Associate (tenure-track) Professors to teach undergraduate and graduate students; establish and maintain a strong research program; mentor students and supervise graduate research; provide service to the institution. The start date is August 2025. The Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering is one of the largest at Miami University. It offers undergraduate Bachelor of Science degrees in computer science, cybersecurity, and software engineering as well as a Bachelor of Arts in computer science. Bachelor of Science degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing are in development. The Department currently offers two graduate degrees. These include a research focused Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) degree and a professional Master of Computer Science (MSC) degree. A pathway to a Ph.D. in Computer Science is offered in collaboration with the University of Cincinnati. A separate Ph.D. in Computer Science degree program is currently being developed within the department with the support of the university administration.
