Position Description
The High Energy Physics group at York University invites applications for a postdoctoral research position targeting lattice field theory in the context of QCD, quantum computing, and/or particle phenomenology. A separate position focusing on dark matter physics and related topics is advertised here. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in theoretical physics by the start of the appointment and have a record of research excellence. The appointment is for two years, beginning fall 2025, with an extension to a third year upon mutual agreement. York University is in Toronto, Canada, near the Institute for Quantum Computing, Perimeter Institute, University of Toronto, CITA, and several other leading research institutions. Current HEP theory faculty include professors Nikita Blinov, Matthew Johnson, Randy Lewis, Kim Maltman, and Sean Tulin. The Department also features vibrant experimental groups.
