We invite applications for a postdoctoral research position in the astrophysics and particle physics group within the Department of Physics at the City University of Hong Kong, working with Prof. Yiming Zhong, starting in September 2025. The initial appointment will be for two years, with the potential for a third year, contingent upon funding availability and mutual agreement. 

Our group's research spans a variety of fields, including but not limited to astrophysics, cosmology, dark matter physics, galactic dynamics, particle theory, black holes, and gravitational waves. The group's faculty members include Professors Sam Wong and Yiming Zhong. Qualifications:  

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Physics, Astronomy, or a related field by the start date. The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the group's research areas and strong analytical, computational, or programming skills. Experience with N-body simulations is particularly advantageous.
