Job description:
The Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics (YITP), Kyoto University, invites applications for a postdoctoral position in particle phenomenology under the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) – International Leading Research project “Promotion of Muon Particle Physics in an International Framework” (Project Leader: Satoshi Mihara, Co-Investigator: Ryuichiro Kitano). The successful candidate will carry out research in particle phenomenology. About six months of the appointment are expected to be spent at an overseas institute (such as PSI, CERN, or FNAL) for collaborative work related to the project. Applicants with backgrounds in experimental particle physics are also welcome.

Requirements:
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in physics at the time of appointment.

Salary:
Determined according to Kyoto University regulations, based on qualifications and experience (annual salary system; approx. 380,000 JPY per month).

Working style:
Discretionary labor system for specialized work (equivalent to 38 h 45 min per week, 7 h 45 min per day).
