Position Description
Duke University’s Master of
Engineering in Game Design,
Development, & Innovation (GAMEDSGN) program in the Pratt
School of Engineering invite applications for a Non Regular Rank
Adjunct Professor position.
Ideal candidates should have significant experience in game
design, development and innovation, preferably be practitioners working in the
industry right now. It is expected that the candidate has worked in the game
design industry or with game technology and tools for a minimum of 7 years.
Candidates ideally shall have prior teaching and course development experience.
Successful candidates must be versed in the use of game engines, programing (C#
+ C++), and the processes of taking games from idea to publishing.
We seek a faculty member who is committed to building a diverse

The major responsibility of this position will be to teach one to
two graduate-level game design, development and innovation courses during the fall
and/or spring semesters. Other responsibilities include course development,
mentoring, fostering campus and industry collaboration.
