The Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University invites applications for appointment as Professor of the Practice of Global Development, non-tenure track, with a specialization in non-governmental organizations and/or innovation for human progress. The successful candidate will be a distinguished practitioner who has worked at high levels in a major international organization or non-governmental organization. We are particularly interested in candidates whose work has focused on technology for development, NGO management, environment, human rights, international law, or multilateral negotiation. The position would look for regional expertise in any part of the world but with a special preference for Africa. The professor of the practice will teach courses in his/her areas of expertise, and will also advise and mentor students pursuing professional careers in international relations. Prior teaching experience and a record of publication and research will be considered a plus.
