Sabbatical Replacement Faculty Position at Harvey Mudd College. The Chemistry Department invites applications for a one-year visiting position for the 2013-2014 academic year. The successful candidate will teach general chemistry, general chemistry laboratory, and an advanced course in their area of specialty. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to involve students in original research. Excellent facilities for teaching and research are available, including state-of-the-art instrumentation (see A Ph.D. is required; postdoctoral experience is preferred but not required. Please supply a curriculum vita, transcripts, statement of your approach to and experience in teaching chemistry, an outline of research interests (if applicable), and two letters of recommendation (preferably with at least one letter addressing your teaching ability).
