The Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track position in international relations. This position is open as to theoretical specialization and regional focus. Advanced methodological skills are required whether in statistical data analysis, formal modelling or qualitative analysis. An applicant's record of performance must provide evidence of outstanding research potential and the ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Appointment is expected to be at the rank of Assistant Professor, but a higher rank is possible under exceptional circumstances. Applicants should have already completed their PhD or be very near completion.
The position start date is August 1, 2013. Review of applications will begin on October 19, 2012 and will continue until the position is filled.
