|Brandeis University invites applications for a two-year, non-renewable Florence Levy Kay Fellowship in Education and African and Afro-American Studies, beginning Fall 2014. The Fellow, who will be appointed as a faculty member at the rank of lecturer, will actively pursue his or her own research interests and teach one course per semester. Ph.D. must be in hand by commencement of the fellowship.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise and interest in exploring issues of race, class, gender, and inequality in education. This interdisciplinary appointment will be shared between the Education and the African and Afro-American Studies programs. The position, which is benefits-eligible, has a 2014-15 salary of $56,000, with a research fund of up to $4,000 per year. A one-time moving allowance of up to $1,500 is also available.
